OUR HISTORY
MICO SPORT SPA was founded in 1970. It started as producer of women’s hosiery. In 1977 it shifted over to a new product category and started to produce technical sport socks. The most modern technologies and the most innovating materials together with the co-operation with world famous sport testers and a strong selling agents network made of MICO SPORT a leader company on the national market for the technical sport socks production. In the 80s MICO SPORT adds a complete range of “technical under-wear” to its collection. Since 1993 official supplier of the Slovenian Ski Pool and of the Croatian Alpine Ski Pool. In 1999 MICO SPORT obtains from the american company Noble Fiber Technologies inc. the license of exclusivity for the use of the X-Static silver fiber, that is considered the top in terms of technologies applied to sport.
Since 2000: it becomes official supplier of the Italian Federation for Winter Sports (F.I.S.I.) From 2003 to 2004: official supplier of F.I.S.I., of the Official Instructors F.I.S.I. (coscuma) and of the School for Federal Technicians F.I.S.I. 
Since 2006: Official Partner Italian Alpine Rescue
Since 2009: Official Sponsor of the Italian Army Winter Sport Division
Since 2010: Official supplier of the Slovania Nordic Ski Team
Since 2010: Official supplier of the Italian Paralympics Federation for Winter Sports (F.I.S.I.P.)
2014: Mico Sport starts the collaboration with Alberto Tomba
2014: Certification from Italian Institute of Phlebology (Collegio Italiano di Flebologia)
2015: Certification from TEXTILE AND HEALTH PROJECT by Health Ministry and TF – TRACEABILITY & FASHION

THE PRODUCTION
In 1977 MICO SPORT SPA shifted over to a new product category and started to produce technical sport socks.
The most modern technologies and the most innovating materials together with the co-operation with world famous sport testers and a strong selling agents network made of MICO SPORT a leader company on the national market for the technical sport socks production. In the 80s MICO SPORT adds a complete range of “technical under-wear” to its collection. Mico Sport is situated in Brescia, the most industrialized province of northern Italy. Textiles and clothing are crucial sectors for Brescian industry. Here is the birthplace of the first circular knitting machines for socks and seamless products. Mico’s mission is to follow sportsmen closely, with the intent to optimise and improve their efforts in daily practice. The Mico brand has chosen to focus on body protection to ensure better performance. A natural consequence of this commitment is the pride of being part of the success enjoyed by great champions, as direct sponsors and suppliers of Mico technical clothing. And it is thanks to their contribution that Mico products can meet the demands of all sportsmen and those who enjoy open air activities.
